Deleting your data

Last updated August 2026. Operating entity: pending.

You can delete your Sinter account and everything stored with it. There is no waiting period and no retention copy: the deletion runs immediately and cannot be undone.

From inside the app

Open the You tab, tap your profile to open the account sheet, then Delete account. You will be asked to confirm. If you have a paid subscription it is cancelled first — if the cancellation fails, nothing is deleted and you are told why, so an account can never be removed while it is still being billed.

By email

If you cannot reach the app, email support@sinter.fit from the address you signed up with and ask for your account to be deleted. We action it within 30 days and reply when it is done.

What is deleted

Everything you logged and everything derived from it: workouts, sets and personal records, food logs and meals, body weight and body-fat entries, your plans and cycles, your profiles, your subscription entitlement, and your AI usage counts. Your email address is erased from our records at the same time.

One thing is deliberately kept: a closed-account marker holding your account identifier and nothing else. It carries no personal data and exists so that a sign-in token issued before the deletion cannot be used afterwards.

Your sign-in record with our authentication provider goes at the same time, automatically. You do not have to ask for it separately.

What is not ours to delete

Payment records held by Stripe, Apple or Google are kept by them for their own tax and accounting obligations. Ask them directly. Data still on your own device is yours: uninstalling removes it, and exporting first is worth doing if you want to keep a copy.

Export your data before deleting if you want to keep it — the Export button sits in the same sheet. Deletion does not leave a copy behind for us to send you later.
